Take advantage of a free Y-COP engine immobilizer for extra peace of mind

The Y-COP is an advanced security system that consists of a floating key and a separate receiver installed behind the dashboard. This system is directly connected to the ECU of the outboard motor and prevents the engine from starting when the Y-COP is activated, providing enhanced security for your boat.
How Y-COP works:
To lock your outboard motor, simply turn off the engine and press the lock button on the floating key. The receiver then locks the ECU of the motor. You will hear a single ‘beep’ indicating that the motor cannot be started. When you return to the boat and bring the key near the receiver in the console, the engine will automatically be unlocked, indicated by a double ‘beep’. There’s no need to take the key out of your pocket.
Y-COP is compatible with models from F20 to F200, both mechanical and DBW (Drive-by-Wire) versions. See the PDF below for the full list of compatible models.
Floating, water-resistant key
The key is water-resistant enough to survive brief submersion in shallow water. Each Y-COP kit includes two key fobs, and up to four additional keys can be programmed into the system. In case of loss, the system can be unlocked using a four-digit code (factory assigned or user-defined). The key’s battery monitors its charge level and audibly alerts the user when it’s running low.
The kit comes with a ‘Y-COP’ sticker that can be placed on the motor cover or console to clearly indicate that the engine is equipped with a Y-COP engine immobilizer.
