HIGHFIELD 2021 COLLECTION
Leading aluminium RIB manufacturer Highfield Boats has unveiled the first images of the long-awaited 2021 Sports range.
This latest collection of high quality aluminium RIBs has been in development for ten years. During that time, Highfield Boats has created a strong brand offering the ultimate in reliability and performance for every new model. Advanced hull design ensures excellent sailing characteristics, while an all-new Italian interior design is visible throughout the range.
The Sport range starts at 3 metres up to the new flagship Sport 800, whose stepped hull was designed by race hull designer Petter Martens. With the sizing of the eleven models in the range, every need can be met. There is a choice of the following sizes; 300, 330, 360, 390, 420, 460, 520, 560, 650, 700 and 800.
The 300-360 models fit easily as a dinghy in most tender garages or in davids of any motor or sailing yacht. Lifting eyes, excellent weight distribution, internal fuel tanks and excellent layout make these small RIBs the perfect tender or runabout.
The 390-460 models (shown below) offer an ideal range for larger tender garages and platforms. At the same time these are practical family boats with an ideal layout, comfort and attention to detail.
The 520 and 560 models are designed to be the best RIBs in their size on the market. The hull is somewhat refined, but is still based on the now legendary hull with which several long-distance competitions have been successful. The layout has been optimized for family use but is also extremely suitable for or rental. For each model a sundeck and waterski towing pole is optional.
The 650-800 models are based on the successful hull used at major events such as the Vendée Globe, ORC and Extreme Sailing Series. The ergonomic layout emphasizes comfort, with diamond stitching in the upholstery, tables and cup holders. The flagship Sport 800 has the option of a toilet, refrigerator and gas stove and comes with a bow and aft deck sundeck.
All Sport models come standard with high quality EVA teak floors, LED interior lighting, full navigation light package and electronic bilge pump. The extensive list of options also includes waterski towing poles and bimini top.
